- COLM O’BRIEN ~ owner, native of Doolin, County Clare. The craic is always mighty when yer man Colm is around. His hobbies include meditation, yoga and céilí/seit dancing.
- FERGAL GRIFFIN ~ manager, native of Ennistymon, County Clare. Ran the most popular pub in Sunnyside Queens until a sudden gift of fate changed him into a veritable Gallo brother. Always wearin’ the saffron and blue of Clare.
- BRÍDGEEN GRIFFIN ~ PR director/Café chef, native of Dublin. Brídgeen has exquisite taste as you’ll find out after one visit to our cafe. She’s also a bit psychic, so don’t get nervous if she starts sprinkling holy well water around you.
- WILL REILLY ~ Winemaker, native of Penn Yan. After attending UC Davis for a year and finishing his degree in viticulture at Cornell, he’s apprenticed at some of the best wineries on Keuka Lake. Usually spotted wearing his “Got Terroir?” T-shirt.
- SHANE GRIFFIN ~ Vineyard Manager, native of Doonmacfelim, County Clare. He dug tons of rocks out of the vineyards to build the dry stone walls surrounding our vineyards that really give the place a look of home. Shane likes to swear at rocks. A lot!
- EMILY REILLY ~ Café hostess, native of Penn Yan. She’s our own “Cáilín Álainn”!
- MAEVE KENNY ~ webmaster, native of Binghamton. The winery café’s official baker of brown bread! A real miracle worker….
I recently visited your winery and had lunch at Loughmare Cafe. To my surprise, I was greeted by a long lost friend of mine — Fergal Griffin from my hometown in Ireland who insisted on treating me to lunch. For the record, the food is par-excellence, and the decor, atmosphere and staff made me feel very much at home…I’ll be back!
